MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church is to build a stronger and more vibrant Catholic-Christian community. This is accomplished by making all feel welcome and important in this Parish. The promise promotes a sense of belongingness among people of all ages and cultural persuasions and enable them to use their talents and skills to build the Kingdom of God with Jesus Christ as model.


DECLARACION DE NUESTRA MISION

Construir en la Parroquia de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe una comunidad cristiano-catolica mas fuerte y activa. Promoviendo un sentido de pertenencia entre su gente de todas edades y culturas, haciendoles sentir beinvenidos y importante para la existencia de la parroquia y animando a todos a usar sus talentos y habilidades para construir el Reino de Dios con Jesus como su modelo.

BAPTISMS/ BAUTISMOS
Please register at the Parish Office one (1) month in advance of the scheduled date desired to give time for the preparation of parents and godparents. English baptisms are scheduled every third Saturday of the month at 12:00 noon.
Por favor de registrarse en la officina parroquial con un (1) mes de anticipacion de la fecha que desean para informarse del curso de preparacion a los padres y padrinos. Los bautismos en english son el tercero Sabado del mes a las 12:00 mediodia. Los bautismos en espanol son el primer Sabado del mes a las 12:00 mediodia.




WEDDINGS/ BODAS
The persons concerned must contact a priest of the parish at least six (6) months prior to the wedding date for the required preparations and instructions.
Las personas que quieren casarse necesitan comunicar con un sacerdote con seis (6) meses de anticipacion de la fecha deseada para las preparaciones y instrucciones requerida.


QUINCENERA
The persons concerned must contact a priest of the parish at least three (3) months prior to the desired date and must be from the parish herself. She must have made her First Communion and if not yet confirmed must be attending Confirmation classes in the parish. Other required preparations and instructions are to be given upon interview and be further announced.
Las personas que quieren celebrar sus Quincenera necesitan comunicar con un sacerdote de la parroquia con tres (3) meses de anticipacion de la fecha deseada y debe pertenecer a esta parroquia. Debe haber hecho su Primera Comunion y si no ha sido confirmada debe estar asistiendo a las clases de Confirmacion. Otras preparaciones y instrucciones requerida van a darles a traves de la intervista del sacerdote.



PRAYER FOR PRIESTLY VOCATIONS
Father, in every generation yo provide ministers of Christ and the Church. We come before you now, asking that you call forth more men to serve our Archdiocese in the ministerial priesthood. Give us priests who will lead and guide your holy body gathered by Word and Sacrament. Bless us with priestly vocations so that we can continue to be a truly Eucharistic Church, strengthened in our discipleship of Jesus Christ, your Only Son. Raise up, we pray, men who are generous in their service, willing to offer their lives and all their gifts for your greater glory and for the good of your people. We make our prayer in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, through Christ, Our Lord. AMEN.


ORACION POS LAS VOCACIONES SACERDOTALES
Padre Celestial, en cada generacion tu provees a tu Iglesia de neuvos ministros de Cristo. Nos ponemos en tu presencia para pedirle que llames a mas hombres al servicio de nuestra Arquidiocesis en el sacerdocio ministerial. Danos sacerdotes que puedan mostrar el camino y guiar a t pueblo santo reunido por la Palabra y los Sacramentos. Bendicenos con vocaciones sacerdotales que nos ayuden a seguir siendo verdaderamente na Iglesia Eucaristica, fortalecida en nuestro discipulado de Jesucristo tu Unico Hijo. Concedenos, te lo pedimos, hombres que sean generosos en el servicio, deseosos de ofrecer sus vidas y todos sus dones para tu mayor gloria y para el bien de tu pueblo. Te lo pedimos Padre en la presencia poderosa del Espiritu Santo y en el nombre de Jesucristo Nuestro Senor. AMEN.
